In this session we introduce Language Integrated Query or LINQ as the next generation data access tool for developers. As part of Visual Studio "Orcas", this developer productivity language enhancements makes working with data the same as working with objects, including the IDE's support for intelli-sense, compiled data access which allows developers to simplify and optimize how data is integrated into their applications.

Speakers:

Russ Fustino - Microsoft Developer Evangelist - Russ has more than 25 years of software development experience. He’s the creator of the Russ' Tool Shed developer seminar series and has donned his trademark suspenders, hardhat and tool belt in presentations for over 50,000 developers at 1,300 events. Before joining Microsoft, Russ worked as a VB instructor, headed up a development department, and created several client/server applications and system software products.
