CoffeeScript is a little language that compiles into JavaScript. Quent Herschelman will introduce the language's features and how to use the SassAndCoffee plug-in for Visual Studio to include CoffeeScript in your ASP.NET MVC web sites. We will also have our FREE raffle and usual networking time while enjoying FREE pizza/soda brought to us by Sherlock Technology Staffing.

Speakers:

Quent Herschelman is a Technical Project Manager and Architect wth NCCI Holdings in Boca Raton. Prior to NCCI, Quent worked with Microsoft where he specialized in helping enterprise architecture teams improve productivty and gain more insight into their application development capabilities through the use of Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server. He is also a board member with the South Florida chapter of Iasa, the Global IT Architects Association, and an active volunteer helping a local preschool with their web site and back-office software. Quent is passionate about the art and craft of software engineering and will happily spend hours with you in your favorite pub pontificating over development processes, design patterns and the really important things like trying to figure out if Irish or German beer is better.
